WAXED COTTON CHORE JACKET. Grape by Kate Sheridan. Workwear inspired and named Chore Jacket created in antique style British Millerian water resistant waxed cotton*. Gently oversized style with concealed front button closure, three patch pockets to front and one inside. Chore is unlined and versatile for all kinds of seasonal weather. Comprises: 100% waxed cotton. See below for care. Designed in the Kate Sheridan East London studio. Made slowly and traditionally in the North of England. Kate Sheridan, a delightful YBD Find since 2015. *Made using waxed cotton from British Millerain, a renowned Lancashire-based mill who have been producing cloth since 1880. A classic British heritage cloth, waxed cotton is water and wind resistant, but also breathes well. This makes it perfect for everyday wear. Traditional waxed cotton should not be machine or hand washed with any detergents, as this will strip the wax coating off and may lead to uneven marks in the cloth. We recommend sponge cleaning the material with water, and mud/dirt should always be left to dry before being brushed off. Waxed Cotton cloth can be re-waxed after heavy use or when needed.
